Apple Creator Studio updates with new AI features for Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator
Apple Creator Studio updates in November with MotionVFX in Final Cut Pro, AI tools for images and audio, and intelligent assistants.
Apple Creator Studio - New features include MotionVFX integration in Final Cut Pro, natural language image editing in Pixelmator Pro, and new intelligent assistants for Logic Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. There is also support for the Model Context Protocol, which will allow external AI agents to interact with documents. The release is scheduled for November on Mac, iPad and iPhone, with different requirements depending on the functions.
Apple Creator Studio integrates MotionVFX into Final Cut Pro
One of the most significant innovations concerns Final Cut Pro for Mac, which directly integrates MotionVFX, previously available as a solution from an external producer. The integration brings thousands of effects, plug-ins, transitions, templates, titles, and motion graphics tools into your editing environment.
Among the possibilities indicated are rotoscoping, tracking and color correction. These are tools used in different phases of post-production: from the isolation of elements within the shots to the tracking of movements, up to the management of the chromatic aspect of the images.
The integration allows you to access these resources directly from the Final Cut Pro work environment. The source does not specify whether all MotionVFX content previously distributed separately is included without limitations, nor does it clarify any special conditions for individual plug-ins.
Apple also extends its Content Hub, the collection of curated content for creators. The catalog now also includes video resources and is accessible from Final Cut Pro, expanding the possibilities for finding materials to use in editing projects.
Pixelmator Pro and Logic Pro expand intelligent tools
Pixelmator Prointroducesa new possibility of intervention on images through Generate Fill. The user can select a specific area of the photograph or composition and describe the desired change in natural language. The function therefore allows you to directly indicate which change to apply to the selected portion, without having to construct the intervention exclusively using manual tools.
The new feature adds to the intelligent generation and modification functions already introduced in previous updates to the suite.
An intelligent assistant arrives for Logic Pro, initially available in beta version. Apple combines this innovation with a redesign of the Sound Browser, thus intervening both on assistance during work and on the organization of audio resources.
Another update concerns Stem Splitter, the tool dedicated to separating the elements of a musical recording. The improved version can isolate drum parts even when the original multitracks are not available. It is a relevant possibility for those who have to intervene on already mixed audio material and do not have separate recordings.

Keynote, Pages and Numbers open to AI assistants and the MCP protocol
Apple productivity apps receive one of the update's coolest innovations. Keynote, Pages and Numbers integrate intelligent assistants capable of understanding the context of the document the user is working on.
Contextual understanding distinguishes these tools from a simple text generation system: the assistant can operate taking into account the content present in the document. However, the information released does not describe in detail all the available operations or the specific commands supported by each application.
Even more significant is the introduction of support forModel Context Protocol (MCP). Through this protocol, external artificial intelligence agents will be able to read and modify documents, as well as automate operations within compatible applications.
The novelty therefore opens up the interaction between Apple productivity tools and external AI systems. The announced support concerns applications on Mac and should not be confused with the availability of integrated assistants, which also affects other compatible devices.
Requirements and limitations of new AI functions
Smart features will not be accessible across all Apple devices. Logic Pro Assistant is Mac-only and requires macOS 27 installed on an Apple Intelligence-compatible computer.
Keynote, Pages and Numbers assistants require a device compatible with Apple Intelligence and one of the supported operating systems: iOS 27, iPadOS 27 or macOS 27. MCP support is limited to Mac and requires macOS 27.
Apple also established two limitations common to the assistants it announced: All of these features are initially in beta and only available in US English. The presence of the applications on a compatible device therefore does not guarantee the possibility of using the assistants in Italian.
No timescales have been indicated for the extension to other languages. The requirements communicated specifically concern assistants and MCP support: they should not be interpreted as universal conditions for every other improvement introduced in the suite.
Availability, subscriptions and license prices
Existing subscribers will receive the new releases at no additional cost to their subscription.
For new subscribers, the price communicated is$12.99 per month or $129 per year. These amounts are expressed in dollars and the source does not provide the corresponding prices for the Italian market.
Apple also maintains the ability to purchase professional Mac applications separately through the Mac App Store. The one-time prices listed are $299.99 for Final Cut Pro, $199.99 for Logic Pro, $49.99 for Pixelmator Pro, $49.99 for Motion, $49.99 for Compressor, and $29.99 for MainStage.
These individually purchasable versions will also receive the new features in November. An alternative purchase method to the subscription therefore remains available, while the distribution of updates will affect both users of the suite and those who use individual licenses of Mac applications.
For those working with video, images, music and documents, the update introduces different but complementary tools: integrated creative assets in Final Cut Pro, natural language-driven editing in Pixelmator Pro, new audio processing capabilities in Logic Pro, and document automation through MCP. However, the actual possibility of using AI assistants will depend on the device, the operating system and the language availability expected in the beta phase.
